We Officially Have A Date!

The Eaton Family Reunion will be held this year on June 7th through 9th.  We have chosen our location as Farmington, UT and Kris Larson has graciously agreed to give us use of his home.

The organizers for this event will by myself (Andrew Jeffers), Terri Eaton and Kris Larson.  If you ever have any questions, suggestions, comments or as my Dad used to say, cuss or discuss, please reach out to one or all of us.  We may be the organizers but we want this event to be something everyone can come to, enjoy and feel they had a part in planning.

I drew the short straw and I got stuck with setting up this webpage.  This is my very first attempt at doing such an endeavor.  If it doesn’t look polished or professional please accept my apologies.

We will be using this site to post where to stay, what to do, etc.  As mentioned before all comments and suggestions are welcome.

We have tentatively planned some activities and we’ll be fleshing these out a little further as the date approaches.  Here’s our first shot at a schedule of events.

Friday Evening – June 7th.  People arrive, check-in and get settled in.  Possibly visit an amusement park in the evening.

Saturday – June 8th.  Visit Pineville Reservior and spend the day having a picnic, playing on the water and just relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.

Sunday – June 9th.  We are thinking about offering a choice.

Option 1 – Kris will be donning his waders and fellow angling enthusiasts for a guided fly fishing trip to one of his top secret “honey holes”.  I understand all participants will be blindfolded and escorted to and from the site to preserve the secrecy.

Option 2 – Everyone has seen my emails the past few years trying to organize a “Team Spud” bicycling event.  Since I am now one of the organizers, I am happy to roll out the “Team Spud Inaugural Ride”.   Grab a helmet, rent or bring your own bike and join us for a nice leisurely ride.  I have two co-organizers that will be assisting on the ride.  I plan on making it a short ride and we will make sure everyone is fully supported on the ride.
